For decades, the Maumee Elks have been a steadfast partner in Sunshine Communities' mission, giving generously and thoughtfully as the needs of the people we support have evolved. Their support has grown into decades of investing in the organization's most pressing needs. With lifetime giving totaling $348,650, their impact reaches far beyond a dollar amount. It reflects years of turning conversations into tangible change through the investments of their club.
Their generosity has touched nearly every corner of life at Sunshine. Over the years, the Maumee Elks have helped fund projects both large and small, including therapeutic pool renovations, adaptive communication equipment, accessible transportation, vocational and day programming, outdoor sensory spaces, mechanical lifts, hospital and sleep-safe beds, roll-in showers, mobility equipment, speech therapy evaluations, and other tools that make daily life safer, more comfortable, and more independent.
Just as importantly, their support has created opportunities for creativity, connection, and joy through art, music, recreation, and barn programming.
